Original Version Of Through The Wire Gets Released

On Kanye West's mixtape, Get Well Soon, the original version of Through The Wire gets released. In this version of the song he rapped it while his mouth was still wired shut and he replaced the line "In the same hospital where Big and Tupac died" since Tupac didn't die in the same hospital as the one he was in. It also included Still Standing by Elton John. This is the version of the song that convinced Roc-A-Fella to allow Kanye to make an album.
