'u' which is meant to show that despite what he was feeling on that song he will be alright. He explains on an
MTV interview that he came to this realization when he went to South Africa and saw he that people were struggling far more than he was so he decided he can either 'pimp' the situation he was in or he could fall victim to it and he chose the former.In a
conversation with Rick Rubin he said he sat on this beat for 6 months trying to find a way to approach it properly, because he felt there was potential for it to be a statement rather than just a fun song.
