"The College Dropout" by
Kanye West. This song is about pressures of going to college, self-consciousness, and consumerism. This was a major which differentiated Kanye since he was talking about what was "real" which was his goal with this album as referenced in his
MTV Interview and
Charlie Rose interview. This song peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for many awards such as in the 47th Grammy's Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category. A spoken version of this was performed at
